Price may be a factor for you but when you are having eyelash extensions applied you want to have someone with experience applying your lashes and you may have to pay a higher price for an experienced extensionist .
This is a picture of a client about 10 days after receiving lashes who did not get a professional eyelash extension application. Her lashes were bonded together causing her to loose some of her natural lashes and she did not have many lash extensions applied. This is what her lashes looked like after I filled her lashes and corrected the initial lash application she received.
If you're given a price of $50 or less, you most likely are not getting true eyelash extensions; you may have been given a price for flares. I have fixed eyelashes on clients who had flares applied and were extremely unhappy. You will know that you have received a professional application of eyelash extensions when your extensionist ensures that all of your lashes move freely and are not bonded together. A Full Set application should take 1 1/2 - 2 hours (includes separating and drying the lashes) If your extensionist bonds several of your lashes together and does not separate them, you risk losing your natural lashes and having a space in your lash line with no lashes. Your extensionist should blow your lashes dry for you before you leave. You should be given a brush to care for your new lashes and told how to properly clean and care for them.
