Great Lengths® human hair extensions offer an array of choices for you.  The human hair donated to Great Lengths® is considered "virgin hair" meaning it has never been touched by chemicals.  It is the purest, healthiest, most luxurious hair in the world. "Who gets hair extensions?"  

Most clients are seeking added volume to their current hairstyle.  Many women experience a natural loss of density as they mature and are seeking the fullness they once had.  Hair extensions are a great cosmetic solution.  Other clients use hair extensions to achieve the length they are seeking but no longer have the patience needed for their natural hair to grow to their desired length.  Hair extensions have been chosen by brides to give them the special appearance want for their wedding day. 



"How are the hair extensions attached to my hair?"

Hair is composed of the protein kertin.  Therefore, the Great Lengths® hair extensions use a keratin bond to attach the hair extensions to your hair.  This must be done precisely in rows and sections that are compatible with your hair's texture, density, and growth patterns.  This process can take between 3 - 6 hours to complete.  Your consultation appointment will determine approximately how long it will take to complete your process.


 
"Can I style and color the hair extensions?"

Great Lengths® hair extensions are human hair and therefore may be styled the same way you currently style your hair.  When using any heated tool to style your hair extensions do not let the heated tool touch the actual bonded areas of your hair.  They can be permed (best before application) and colored.  Terry will provide care instructions.



"How long will the hair extensions last?"

The keratin bond for Great Lengths® human hair extensions is a permaent bond.  The extension bond will grow out along with your hair's normal growth.  In approximately 3 - 4 months the extensions will need to be removed by Terry using the proper technique to avoid damaging your natural hair.  If you decide you want to continue wearing hair extensions you are encouraged to make another consultation appointment at which time you will have the choice to make any changes for the new application.  New hair extensions will be ordered and ready to put in the same day the old extensions are removed if that is your choice.


"How much can I expect to py for hair extensions?"

The cost is based on two things; the amount of hair needed ad the application time required.  These two factors are individual to each client depending on your hair and your goals.  You will be given this information during your consultation appointment.
